Sending Money to your Child

Can friends and family send money to my Mydoh account? 

For birthdays, holidays, lawn mowing or snow shoveling, friends and family can send money directly to your kids’ Mydoh accounts – even if those friends and family are not on Mydoh! 

Please see the steps below for how to request funds from family and friends: 

From the Child’s App

  1. Login to your Mydoh Kid account and select “$ Request” 
  2. Select “Anyone outside of Mydoh”
  3. You can share your payment link by copying your link, or selecting “Share Link”.
  4. If you select ‘Share Link’ you will be prompted to send your link via SMS to the contact of your choosing!
  5. If your friend or family member is nearby, they can also open your payment link by scanning your QR code. 
  6. Voila! Your link has been shared to whom you chose, now your friends/family will be able to click your payment link and follow the prompts to send funds to your Mydoh account*!

From the Parent’s App

  1. Login to your Mydoh Parent account
  2. On the home screen, select the child that you would like to share their payment link
  3. Select “Payment Link”
  4. If your friend or family member is nearby, they can scan the QR code to open your child’s payment link. Or if you select ‘Share Link’ you will be prompted to send the link via SMS to the contact of your choosing!
  5. That’s it! Now friends/family will be able to follow the prompts to send funds to your child’s Mydoh account directly**!

Important notes:

*Please note that at this time, funds via a child’s payment link can only be sent using a Visa or Mastercard Debit Card.

**All transfers and final, and non-refundable. Please ensure your friends and family have carefully confirmed all the details of their transfer before confirming and sending you the funds!
